Ironmark Building Company is honored to be recognized for our work on One West Drive by both Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2024 and the Minnesota Real Estate Journal Awards.
Located in the heart of Downtown Excelsior, One West Drive is a transformative 192,857-square-foot development spanning seven buildings and featuring 38 luxury apartments, 11 rowhomes, and a three-level underground parking structure. The project addresses a critical parking need in the area with 322 public and private stalls, all while delivering a high-end residential experience.
As General Contractor, Ironmark was responsible for leading construction through some of the most complex challenges we’ve tackled to date. The site’s tight residential setting and low elevation required deep excavation, advanced earth retention systems, a temporary water diversion strategy, and precise coordination with multiple engineering teams. We also successfully integrated a heated plenum system within strict municipal height restrictions, balancing mechanical, structural, and zoning requirements without compromise.
This project is a testament to what’s possible when teamwork, technical excellence, and shared vision come together.
